Hello, all! Just stumbled upon this from a friend's Facebook feed.
I did a "Tomb" Cyberman at DragonCon about three years back. It was a joy to work on (since they seemed to be the simplest costume to do). Now, I'm here and may want to upgrade the current one or do another.
I'm in Charlotte, NC and have been a fan of The Doctor since 1980. I got into the show when UNC Public TV ran it twice a day and an omnibus movie on Saturdays. Started costuming about ten years ago with Batman and superheroes and have a good Four and Five costume.
That's it. Happy to find the place. And ready to look around a bit.

Welcome and glad you found us! Would love to hear what cyberman you may work on next! I have some rework to do on mine since the thighs ended up being a lot bigger then I thought they were... but otherwise seems to be doing well.
Since I am moving back to NC (Raleigh-Durham area) next month or Jan. I want to do a classic Cyberman so I can have a more portable suit for going to Chicago since I love that convention. I hope to attend the con in Atlanta in May (Timegate) with my new series Cyberman (since I don't know of a proper name for the version in A Good Man Goes to War). Do you ever attend that one?

Glad to have you on board! I am a member of the Alliance, as I have not been upgraded yet. I crafted a Sontaran costume for this year's Chicago TARDIS convention. I currently live in Cary, NC, so maybe we'll run into each other sometime.
